Movement has always been meaningful to me.
I joined our summer swim team when I was just two years old. I started dancing at the age of three and kept with it until I was in college. My breakup with ballet was a messy one. I was not in a good relationship with myself when I was dancing. It wasn’t until I found the practice of yoga to realize that.
I moved to NYC in 2009 to pursue a career in Fashion PR (I would later realize that I was not in a good relationship with myself when I was working in Fashion PR, either).
In 2010, I started a consistent yoga practice and my life drastically changed. I enrolled in a 200-hour Teacher Training through YogaWorks in 2011 to give my otherwise pretty colorless life some color at the time. I had no idea where it would take me, but that excited me. I could pursue something I loved without being so fixated on the outcome. This is where a major shift started occurring.
After my 200-hour I decided to keep the momentum growing and I enrolled in a 300-hour Advanced Training shortly after.
In 2013, I co-founded SYNCSTUDIO in Williamsburg which was the most beautiful community where we practiced cycling, yoga and strength training.
Throughout this time, I was dedicated to stay steeped in study and completed a 100-hour Advanced Training with Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee and continue to call them my teachers.
SYNCSTUDIO was open for 7 years when we decided it was time to close, which happened to be one week before the pandemic hit in 2020.
Through the last few years of my SYNCSTUDIO life, I was practicing a transformative method called The Class and soon felt the call to join their community. I completed a three month training and became a teacher of The Class in December of 2019.
I currently teach group Classes at The Class, and private movement sessions to individuals and businesses in NYC.
